Lent is always a powerful period during which the church goes through a prayerful reflection and rejuvenation. Its a great time to come to terms with our humanness and also to meet our Lord in the cross of our lives.
Last year Fr. Gordon took us through lent with powerful weekly reflections and I am hoping that he will again find time to take us through the same though this time he is a student and may be too busy.
However the fish group is full of highly spiritually resourceful lay people as well such as Martin Opondo, Ann Amimo, Charles Lwanga , etc. I would like to take this opportunity to invite people who are able to take us through the period with reflections based on the Church's lenten campaign of the year. I also invite other religious people like Emma, Fr. Gordon, Fr. Okal etc to join in in feeding us with this spiritual food at this time.

You are right. I think we have to appreciate what the Lord has given us in different personalities within the fish fraternity. Last year I did it, this year another person could do it, lay or religious. Or perharps a team or individuals per week etc. Articles could be received and posted on weekly basis also in line with the Episcopal Lenten Campain theme or for the situation of our country/world/group/church at the moment. God bless and wish all a good period of prayer, donation of oneself and efforts to do better.
