Shalom brethren,

I'm lost for words when it comes to the sudden demise of Midha Joaness. How difficult it would be for us to replace the ever smiling thespian.During our FLTP at the youth centre to the many weddings and numerous public functions, Midha was a source of real happiness.

His drums spoke volumes and if any one really knows the people who popularised the famous ohangla dance that has travelled across the world, then you must convince me that Midha was not the one. Honestly, he is the unsung heroe of the modern ohangla dance that picked from the Sunset Hotel- Kisumu.

He has left a legacy of a man who was dedicated to making peoples lives happier and yet his may not have been very successful by ordinary standards. He was selfless and so many people might have exploited his talent for their selfish gain.

To the children of Manyatta,he gave his best even as a teacher at the Informal school next to Auji and as we prepare to give him the best burial, let us not forget that he leaves behind a family that solely relied on him.Let us console the familyand if possible give them a springboard to a start a new life. I want to appeal to everyone who means well for this family to reconsider our contribution towards the EATING/FEASTING at the funeral to instead focus on giving one his children a chance to better education.

I will avail myself for the Harambee and whatever contribution I'll have, Nita toa but it will not be less than 1,000/= (one thousand only). Let us remember our many brothers and sisters who went before us and pray for them because one all of us will join them.
